RETRACTION, CORRECTION AND EXPRESSION OF CONCERN POLICY

International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) is committed to safeguarding the integrity, accuracy, and credibility of the scholarly record. The journal follows a transparent and ethical approach in addressing post-publication issues and takes appropriate action whenever significant errors or research misconduct are identified.

Retraction

An article may be retracted if there is clear evidence of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication or falsification, unethical research practices, or any serious violation of publication ethics. A formal retraction notice will be published and permanently linked to the original article to ensure transparency and maintain the integrity of the academic record.

Correction

When genuine errors are identified that do not compromise the overall validity or conclusions of the research, the journal will publish a Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum). All corrections will be clearly documented and directly linked to the original article.

Expression of Concern

The journal may issue an Expression of Concern when credible evidence suggests potential ethical or research misconduct, but a thorough investigation is still ongoing. This notice serves to inform readers while ensuring a fair and impartial evaluation of the matter.

Editorial Responsibility

All allegations of publication misconduct are handled objectively, confidentially, and in accordance with internationally recognized ethical publishing standards. The Editorial Board reserves the right to issue a Correction, Retraction, or Expression of Concern whenever necessary to preserve the quality, transparency, and trustworthiness of International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) and its published research.
