COMPLAINTS AND APPEALS POLICY
International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and accountable editorial process. The journal welcomes genuine complaints and appeals related to editorial decisions, peer review, publication ethics, or the publication process. All concerns are handled promptly, confidentially, and impartially.
Complaints
Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit complaints regarding:
- Editorial decisions or delays in the publication process.
- Peer-review procedures or reviewer conduct.
- Publication ethics, plagiarism, or research misconduct.
- Conflicts of interest or any breach of editorial policies.
All complaints are carefully reviewed by the Editorial Office and, where necessary, investigated by the Editor-in-Chief or the Editorial Board. Appropriate actions will be taken based on the findings.
Appeals
Authors who believe that a manuscript has been rejected due to a procedural error or misunderstanding may submit a written appeal with a clear explanation and supporting evidence. The appeal will be reviewed independently, and the Editorial Board's decision after review shall be considered final.

International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) is dedicated to resolving complaints and appeals in a fair, objective, and timely manner while maintaining the principles of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing. Every effort is made to ensure that all parties are treated with respect, impartiality, and professionalism throughout the resolution process.
