CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND COMPETING INTERESTS POLICY

International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and impartiality throughout the publication process. To preserve the credibility of published research, all participants—including authors, editors, reviewers, and editorial board members—must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence the objectivity of the research, editorial decisions, or the peer-review process.

Authors

Authors are required to disclose any financial, institutional, professional, or personal relationships that may influence the research or its interpretation. If no competing interests exist, authors should include the following statement in their manuscript:

"The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest."

Editors

Editors shall evaluate all submissions solely on the basis of their scholarly quality, originality, and relevance to the journal's scope. Editors must not participate in the review or editorial decision of any manuscript where a conflict of interest exists.

Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to disclose any competing interests before accepting a review assignment. If a conflict exists, they should decline the invitation to review. Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential and must not use unpublished information for personal or professional benefit.

Journal Policy

Where a conflict of interest is identified, the Editorial Office may request additional disclosures or take appropriate measures to ensure an impartial editorial process. Failure to disclose relevant competing interests may result in manuscript rejection, publication correction, or retraction where appropriate.
