DATA SHARING AND DATA AVAILABILITY POLICY
International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) encourages authors to promote transparency, reproducibility, and the long-term value of scholarly research by making the data supporting their published findings available whenever possible. Data sharing enhances the credibility of research and facilitates further academic inquiry.
Data Availability
Authors should include a Data Availability Statement in their manuscript indicating whether the research data are publicly available, available upon reasonable request, or subject to ethical, legal, or confidentiality restrictions.
Data Sharing
Authors are encouraged to deposit research data, datasets, supplementary materials, and supporting documentation in recognized institutional or public repositories whenever appropriate. Any shared data should be accurate, properly documented, and sufficient to support the published results.
Exceptions
Where data cannot be shared due to privacy, confidentiality, legal obligations, intellectual property rights, or ethical considerations, authors must clearly explain the reason within the Data Availability Statement.
Journal Commitment
International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) supports responsible data sharing practices that enhance research transparency while respecting ethical, legal, and privacy requirements. The journal encourages authors to adopt open research practices that strengthen the reliability, accessibility, and impact of scholarly publications.
