ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) POLICY

International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) recognizes the growing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in academic research and scholarly writing. While AI-assisted tools may be used to improve language, grammar, formatting, or data analysis, authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and ethical standards of their submitted work.

Acceptable Use of AI

Authors may use AI tools to support the preparation of manuscripts, provided that such use does not compromise the authenticity or scientific integrity of the research. AI-generated content should always be carefully reviewed, verified, and edited by the authors before submission.

Author Responsibility

AI tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors, as they cannot assume responsibility for the accuracy, originality, or ethical conduct of the research. Authors are solely accountable for the content of their manuscripts, including all analyses, interpretations, citations, and conclusions.

Transparency

Where AI tools have made a significant contribution to the preparation of a manuscript, authors are encouraged to disclose their use in the appropriate section of the manuscript. Such disclosure promotes transparency and supports responsible scholarly publishing.

Editorial Policy

The Editorial Board reserves the right to evaluate the appropriate use of AI in submitted manuscripts. Any misuse of AI resulting in plagiarism, fabricated data, misleading information, manipulated images, or other forms of publication misconduct may lead to rejection, retraction, or other editorial actions in accordance with the journal's publication ethics.

International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) is committed to promoting the responsible and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and research excellence.
