GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS
International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) welcomes the submission of original, high-quality, and unpublished research that contributes to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of humanities, social sciences, education, and related interdisciplinary areas. Authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth review and publication process.
1. Scope of the Journal
International Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (IJHSS) publishes original research articles, review papers, case studies, conceptual papers, short communications, and book reviews in the fields of Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, Commerce, Management, Public Administration, Law, and other allied disciplines.
2. Originality and Ethical Standards
Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and must not be under consideration by any other journal or publisher. Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity of their work and must comply with internationally accepted standards of research and publication ethics.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare their manuscripts in clear, concise, and grammatically correct English. The manuscript should generally include the following sections:
- Title of the Manuscript
- Author(s) Name and Affiliation
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (4–6)
- Introduction
- Literature Review (where applicable)
- Research Methodology
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements (if applicable)
- References
4. Formatting Requirements
Authors are requested to ensure that manuscripts are professionally formatted before submission.
- File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 pt
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides
- Page Numbers: Bottom Center
- References: Follow the journal's prescribed citation style (APA Latest Edition unless otherwise specified).
5. Abstract and Keywords
Each manuscript must include a structured abstract summarizing the objectives, methodology, key findings, and conclusions of the study. Authors should also provide 4–6 relevant keywords to facilitate indexing and discoverability.
6. References and Citations
All sources cited in the manuscript must be accurately referenced. Authors are responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all citations. References should be formatted consistently according to the journal's prescribed citation style.
7. Peer Review Process
Every manuscript undergoes an independent double-blind peer review conducted by subject experts. Publication decisions are based on originality, scientific quality, relevance, clarity, methodological rigor, and reviewers' recommendations.
8. Submission Process
Authors should submit their manuscripts through the journal's official online submission system or via the designated editorial email, following all submission instructions provided on the journal website.
9. Editorial Decision
The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions for any submitted manuscript based on reviewers' comments, editorial evaluation, and compliance with the journal's policies and ethical standards.
10. Author Declaration
